SEG13 Parallel to JTAG/Once
Interface
The primary purpose of the SEG13 Parallel to JTAG/Once Interface device is to provide a low cost migration path from the DSP56F800DEMO board to your target hardware. Using the recommended interface/reset circuit (also available in Orcad 9.2), you can seamlessly and inexpensively migrate code development between the DSP56F800DEMO board and your target hardware.

Warranty Information:
Warranty is 6 months unconditional from date of purchase. If the device fails to operate properly within 6 months of the purchase date, simply return it with your contact information name/company/phone/email/approximate date of purchase and the device will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Obvious electrical failures that may be attributable to problems on target hardware will be accompanied by a phone contact to verify that any possible problems have been corrected before returning device. Recommended Circuit:
Use of this circuit is highly recommended and is the only method that is supported by SEG13.

Operation:
The SEG13 Parallel to JTAG/Once Interface is a drop in replacement for the parallel interface on the DSP56F800DEMO board. To test, simply remove the Host Interface jumper on your DSP56F800DEMO board and plug the 14 pin JTAG connector from the SEG13 Parallel to JTAG/Once Interface into the JTAG Header on the DSP56F800DEMO board (this will need to be populated, it does not ship that way) and connect the SEG13 Parallel to JTAG/Once Interface to the parallel port of your PC. Next, open a project, compile and download just as if you were directly connected to the DSP56F800DEMO board. Once this has been accomplished, you are ready to move to your target hardware. If the recommended circuitry has been used and your target hardware is functioning properly, you are now ready to begin code development on your target hardware..
